Here comes fall and the first holiday is "Halloween" so I made this wallpaper for 1024x768. I used PS7 Wacom and mostly my mouse. I used about 3 total colors as you can see and it took me 2 days and a total of about 9 hours. SO, I hope you like and please give me feedback I only want to get better. Thanks and hope you enjoy...

Not a bad start. I mean, it certainly looks like a pumpkin.

It is very 2D, I assume that you are trying to go for a 3D appearance because of the highlights and shadows. A shadow of the pumpkin the ground behind the pumpin would be nice (and I don't mean using a shadowdrop filter in PS). My only suggestion is that you try to stay away from photoshop filters. You've got a wacom man; use it!

I like your suggestion but alas, I don't know how to do that. I also wanted to do a "reflection" but don't know how to do that either. Anysugestions or tutes would be appreciated.

So everyone knows I was going for an aqua, candy effect for a desktop, not really a mural artistic painting of a pumpkin. I would like to get more 3d in the pumpkin thouhg...So how about this....

if people would like me to send them the PSD file and see a much better job done on the 3d effect of the painting.??? lemme know....
